01 — About

Computational Geoenergy Engineer at the intersection of subsurface physics and digital technologies.

I'm a Geoenergy Engineer (MSc, Politecnico di Torino) with a Twin Track Minor in Digital Technologies for Environmental Applications (D-TEA). I work at the intersection of geoenergy engineering and digital technologies — combining subsurface physics with computational methods, data science, and machine learning to advance the energy transition.

My research focuses on geothermal energy, carbon capture and storage, and the reuse of legacy wells. My MSc thesis developed a hybrid numerical framework for bottom-hole temperature correction across 46 wells in the Po Plain Basin, cutting prediction RMSE from 12.5 °C → 7.0 °C through Horner extrapolation and Monte Carlo uncertainty analysis.

I build reproducible scientific workflows in Python, FEFLOW, QGIS, and Petrel to model subsurface thermal and reservoir behavior. I'm pursuing research and engineering roles where rigorous computational analysis meets real-world geoenergy systems.
