01 — About

About me.

I'm a Geoenergy Engineer (MSc, Politecnico di Torino) bridging petroleum engineering and the energy transition. I turn legacy subsurface data into decision-support tools for geothermal energy and carbon storage.

My research repurposes the data and infrastructure of the oil and gas era — from screening dozens of legacy wells in the Po Plain for geothermal reuse, to building open-source Python tools designed to be traceable, validated, and honest about their uncertainty.

02 — Research

Featured research directions.

Three areas where I'm actively reading, modeling, and shipping.

Geothermal Energy

Resource assessment, reservoir engineering, and environmental impact of deep geothermal systems for electricity and direct heat.

Carbon Capture & Storage

CO₂ storage in depleted reservoirs and saline aquifers — capacity estimation, integrity assurance, and long-term monitoring.

Legacy Wells

Re-qualification, repurposing, and safe abandonment of ageing wells for geothermal production and carbon storage.
